Screen Tasmania Production Attachment

Fredbird Entertainment and Screen Tasmania announces the appointment of a Production Attachment to Series 5 of ‘Air Rescue’.

Screen Tasmania received an enormous number of enquiries about the position. The successful candidate, Launceston local Daniel Dickson, has assumed the role. Daniel is currently studying for a Diploma in Screen and Media at TasTAFE.

Daniel Dickson said: ‘I’m looking forward to upgrading my production skills and being able to identify a specialty area that I can advance my career in.’

Craig Graham, Fredbird Executive Producer said, ‘We’re delighted to partner with Screen Tasmania on this important initiative, designed to help students like Daniel acquire the necessary hands on industry experience to kick start a career in film and television.’

Jane Stapleton, Industry Development Manager at Screen Tasmania said, ‘The Tasmanian Government is a strong supporter of the growing screen sector in Tasmania and Screen Tasmania is delighted to be partnering with Fredbird Entertainment to enable an emerging Tasmanian practitioner to work first hand with an award winning team on such an exciting television series.’

Fredbird Entertainment will deliver the 6 x 30 minute documentary series for broadcast later this year.
